Insulation
Regardless of your building use, we offer a variety of Metal Building Insulation options for you to choose. We got you covered.
Spray Foam
Spray Foam is a versatile insulation material that is used to seal gaps, insulate, and create a barrier against temperature changes, moisture, and air infiltration. WolfSteel only uses closed-cell spray foam for its metal buildings. This form of spray foam creates a higher R-Value. Available for both Galvanized Tubular and Red Iron Metal Buildings.
Pros
- Highest R-Value
- Airtight Seals
- Moisture Resistance
- Soundproof Capabilities
- Increases Building Rigidity
Cons
- A Higher Cost

Radiant Barrier
Radiant Barrier is also known as bubble insulation. Radiant Barrier insulation is designed to reduce heat transfer by reflecting radiant heat. It’s effective in areas where the building is exposed to direct sunlight. It is also known to retain heat during colder temperatures. Available only for our Galvanized Tubular Metal Buildings.
Pros
- Cost efficient
- Fast Installation
- Low Maintenance
Cons
- Installation on Vertical Orientation only
- R-Value depends on proper installation
- Dependent on climate
Fiberglass
Fiberglass insulation is also known as Bat Roll Insulation or Blanket Insulation. It is a common thermal insulation used to reduce heat transfer. It is made from fine thin strands of glass that are formed into a dense mat or bat and it is designed to be installed in walls, ceilings, and attics.
Pros
- Cost efficient
- Fast Installation
- Naturally Fire Resistant
- Non-Corrosive
Cons
- Absorbent to Moisture
- Maintenance required overtime
Which is Best?
Which is best depends on the usage and budget you are looking into. Spray Foam is the most effective way to airtight and get thermal control in your metal building but, it does come at a cost. Radiant Barrier is best when you’re looking to reflect heat away from your metal building, but not ideal for thermal control. It is also a cost-effective way to do so. Fiberglass can give you a great R-Value with great aesthetics. A lot of its effectiveness is based on installation. Ask one of our salespersons what is your intended building use and what you’re looking to accomplish, so we can recommend which is best for you.
Certain insulations are limited to the type of building. WolfSteel Building only offers these services for our Metal Buildings.
